So a couple of weeks ago, I had a chance to go to a fiber festival in Murphysboro Tennessee also known as Fiber in the Boro. I went more for inspiration than shopping I really don't need anything. Not that that has ever stopped me before!☺ but surprisingly I did pretty well and I only brought home a few things.
I met there with a couple of my friends who decided to go to the festival as well, I have to admit it's a lot more fun going with several other people then with by yourself or just with Mom who is my normal fiber festival companion ( I'm really not saying that I don't enjoy having her come because in fact I really do,) but it is just good to get other people's perspective as well.
I got very few pictures because like usual for some reason I forgot to take them, but I will see if I can dig any up.

So I picked up this awesome fiber at the show it is a pound of a blend of romney wool and mohair, now I'm not as fond of mohair but I couldn't resist the colors. Also to our surprise both mom and I won a door prize, she won a book on saroi garment construction but she turned around and gave to me because I'm the Weaver and I won wait for a set of Us size 100s circular needles. I have to say I thought 100s is there any way I could ever use these? However they they are rather cool, so we will see if anything comes of it.
Now this is the only picture I took the day of the show the only reason I took it was I thought it was such a cool idea for inspiration.
So on that note I think I'll wrap it up and tell you... happy spinning til later
