Well I’ve been trying to get some carding done for a few days so last night I got started on picking and carding some fiber that I just dyed. I think I managed to get 3 or 4 batts carded, at least the first carding anyway. I’ll have to try and get some photos up of I can. 4/25/12 7:30 pm Well I’m still trying to get batts carded but I have made some progress, unfortunately some of the fiber still has some lanolin in it so I think I’ll have to wash it again after I dyed it, hopefully I’ll have enough time to do so. The problem is by the time I get home I’m so tired I start to fall asleep after a batt or two; as a result I don’t have enough time to wash the fiber when I get home. Well I guess I just need to keep plodding on. :D I do think this system of my doing some typing on the way home is working, then I when I get a few minutes online I can post in and be ready to go. 4/26/12 6:17pm I have to admit I have been going podcast crazy these last few weeks. I had known about them for a while but since I couldn’t do that much downloading when I had internet at home I never really got into them that much. Plus since all I had was a computer to play them on, I never quite understood what the big deal was about them. Now ever since I got an I-pod for my birthday I have been playing with it a lot. I also now know where a lot of internet hotspots are. J Ever since I found out Lowes has free Wi-Fi whenever I go there I can check email, websites and download podcasts. And I’m there a LOTJ. So I now I can listen anywhere, it seems to help keep me motivated on my fiber stuff. |
